Welcome back to Hyperstack Weekly! This week is filled with excitement as we introduce a significant upgrade for those ready to push their workloads to the limit!
Make sure you are prepared for this upgrade (it’s not for the faint-hearted 😉) as your performance boost will be nothing short of lightning-fast!
Let’s get started.
In the run up to the official release, Kubernetes on Hyperstack is currently accessible to the public via API. We’ve released a tutorial to help you get started on running LLMs from the API. While the full UI integration is still a few weeks away, API users can begin experimenting with Kubernetes today. Stay tuned—once the UI goes live, we’ll be rolling out additional tutorials and updates.
We don’t make promises we can’t keep, because delivering the best solutions for you is our top priority. In the Hyperstack August Update, we mentioned that we'll soon introduce GPU VMs with high-speed networking powered by SR-IOV. And today, we’re proud to announce that SR-IOV is here!
Our on-demand high-speed networking with SR-IOV has officially been released. We have introduced network-optimised environments in the CANADA-1 region, so you can now deploy VMs with compatible GPUs and zoom into the future with inter-VM bandwidth of up to 350 Gbps. Yes, you read that right it is 350 Gbps!
But how do you know if you're in a network-optimised environment? Just look for the ⚡ (flash) icon! It makes spotting these high-performance environments easy when deploying your VMs.
But that's not all - we’ve also added banners to the Environments and VM Deployment pages to keep you informed about the availability of high-speed networking with SR-IOV.
Check out our latest tutorial to get started with SR-IOV for high-speed networking on Hyperstack:
Getting Started with SR-IOV for High-Speed Networking
A Quick and Easy Guide
Virtual Machines in our legacy CANADA-1 environments, with network-optimised configurations, offer inter-VM bandwidth of up to 125 Gbps. To achieve enhanced networking performance and up to 350 Gbps bandwidth, set up Hyperstack's high-speed networking with SR-IOV technology. For more details, read the full blog here.
Don't miss out on our virtual event, coming next week. Check the details below:
We’re just days away from our AI, ML & Computer Vision Meetup on September 26th and if you haven’t registered yet, what are you waiting for? This virtual meetup will feature Mischa van Kesteren from NexGen Cloud and Dan Gural from Voxel51—two industry experts you don’t want to miss.
The virtual event will explore scaling industrial AI and the future of GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS), and trust us, this one’s going to be huge. So grab your spot, settle into your favourite home chair (or your comfy bed) and join us for this event next week!
